Life is that good if you recognise it

After traveling to Bali to help in an orphanage. The first thing that stood out to me was how happy the children were.

Now compared to us they have nothing, yet there joy is amazing.

Why are they so happy with very little in there lives?

I believe one reason is they have community, they rely on one another.

Here in Australia we have many things. Our lives are filled with things that bring no joy.

We rarely need others to rely on.

STOP

Look at what you have & be thankful.

Share what you have with others.

It could be as simple as a smile or a kind word.

Spend time with people you love & care about.

Create your own community.

It will make a bigger difference than you think

Why we are so stressed in Western society

I am reading Philip Baker's book "Secrets of Super Achievers".

This quote is taken from Philip's book.

"The blame mentality, if correct, would declare that nothing good or bad is ever our own fault. This type of fatalism does not wash with most people, so we moderate the harsh reality of taking it to it's logical conclusion and develope an irrational philosophy of life... A philosophy that says we are the reason for our successes and others the reason for our failures".

Now if we are to believe that this is true, which most people in Western Society do, then we do want credit for our successes but will not accept blame for our failures.

What we have done is become hypocrites, so in fact we are lying to ourselves.

If we live a life where we consistantly lie to ourselves, how will it be possible to find inner peace?

Now we don't take the time to think about these inner battles. So it continues going on day after day without relief.

Of course we become stressed, how can we not?

We must be true to ourselves and take responsibility for our whole, life be it success or failure only then will we find true peace therefore taking away our stress.

Life moves very fast

Life moves very fast in western society. There are many things to keep us busy but are these things important to us?

It is a really good idea to write down what is important to you & do these things.

If you don't, life will pass by very fast & you will look back & realise you have helped other people complete what is important to them.

It may be a boss.

It may be a friend.

It may even be your life partner.

WHAT DO YOU WANT YOUR LIFE TO LOOK LIKE?

You may have always wanted to write a book.

Climb a mountain.

Go some where in the world special to you.

It could be anything.

What ever it is.....write it down....NOW

Start to plan how you will get it.

It is YOUR LIFE.

Spend it wisely

Why are you so important

Have you even considered just how very important you are?

You see you were created for a purpose that only you can fulfill.

Let me say that again.

YOU WERE CREATED FOR A PURPOSE THAT ONLY YOU CAN FULFILL.

Most people never get a grasp on how important you actually are to the big picture.

The successful people realise this.......that is why they are successful.

What are you going to do?

Just how desperate are you to be all you can be?

To really have a good belief in our selves we must change our thought process.
Most of us think in a way that was taught to us by our parents when we were young,
They learned from their parents & so on.
Very few people stop to think, about the way they think therefore repeating what their parents did & becoming like our parents even though we said we would never do that.
The key to changing is to pause for a moment & ask ourselves why do I react in a certain way to a situation. In this moment we can choose to take a different path rather than react without thinking.

Preparing yourself for success

The key to success is believing you are good enough to be the authentic you.

There are no two people who are the same.

When you come to realise how fantastic your individuality is then you will truely shine.

Those who truely shine can not help but attract success.

So how do we get to that level of belief in ourselves.

I will give you some time to think about that before we discuss it further.
